Shaldon Sea Shanties
As part of an integrated project for SCITT, the children in year six at Shaldon Primary School have been learning sea shanties. On Friday 25th March, the local sea shanty crew: 'Bow Movement' came to visit the children and give them some feedback on their performance skills, ahead of their assembly on Friday.
Bow Movement sang some songs and encouraged the audience to sing on the choruses. Then year six performed the song 'Bay of Suvla' beautifully and the crew joined in on the chorus! Bow Movement commented on the beautiful harmonies they could hear and how wonderful our children sounded!
