Jackie Eason

Jackie enjoys undertaking external reviews of governance and developing Trustee training and works as part of both the CST and NGA professional consultancy teams. She is currently the Programme Director for the CST Chairs Development and the CST Essential Trust training programmes.

As an experienced Chair of Trustees and former National Leader of Governance, Jackie has an excellent understanding of governance and enjoys working with Governors and Trustees to develop their confidence and skills. Jackie also worked with British Cycling as a lead tutor trainer, mentor, and quality assurance lead. This work has given her a good understanding of developing and supporting people and assuring quality in systems and delivery.

Jackie is currently Chair of the Leading Edge Academies Partnership, this is a growing multi-phase Trust with six schools. She also works closely with Local Authorities and the RDD to provide governance support in challenging situations.

Jackie was awarded an MBE in the New Years’ Honours List 2022 for services to education.
